What goes in a wedding gift basket, how to pack it so it survives the trip home, and why a box or a bag works better for a guest list of 200 or more. The worked orders come to about ₹2 lakh or more.
A wedding gift basket needs one main item, two or three fillers and a card, packed so nothing shifts on the way home. That works for a single gift. For 200 guests or more, a box or a bag travels and stacks better, and for a guest list, we pack boxes and bags.

What goes in a wedding gift basket
Build it from the centre out: the main item first, then the fillers, then the card. Pick one theme, such as tea time or a kitchen starter, so the pieces look chosen together.
- The main item. Something with a job in the couple's home, such as a set of cups, a serving dish or a lamp. It sits in the middle and gives the basket its weight.
- The fillers. Two or three small things around it, one to eat, one to sip and one to keep. Sealed dry fruits, tea sachets and a candle do the job.
- The card. A few handwritten lines, tucked in where it can't fall out. It's the one part that's personal to the two of them.
Leave out whatever won't last the trip: anything open, anything that melts and loose glass jars. A crowded basket is also harder to pack, so stop at three fillers.
How do you pack it so it survives the trip home?
Fill every gap, keep the heavy piece in the centre and tie the lot down. The common mistake is packing for the photo, not the journey.
- Line the base with crinkle paper or tissue, then stand the main item in the centre so the weight sits low and even.
- Wrap glass and ceramic on their own, so two hard pieces never touch.
- Pack paper into every gap until a gentle shake moves nothing. Loose items slide into one corner and crush the rest.
- Wrap anything scented, such as a candle or soap, on its own, so the scent stays off the food.
- Tie a ribbon across the top, or close a clear wrap at the handle, and tape the card where it can't slip out.
- Carry it upright, on a seat or the car floor. Loose in a boot, a basket can tip when the car turns.
One basket or 200: when a box or a bag does it better
A basket works for one gift, but at 200 guests a box or a bag does the job better, because every basket needs the packing above done by hand.

Past one basket: one design for every guest, from Delhi
If your family is the host, we can take care of all of it. Every guest gets the same gift, packed and sent from our Delhi warehouse. You approve a single proof or order summary before production starts, not 200 baskets built one by one.
- An order leaves our warehouse for one address or for each guest's address, anywhere in India.
- The Wedding Hamper Bag and boxes are both on our list, and the couple's names or a monogram can go on either. Read every name on the proof letter by letter before you approve it.
- Every order comes with a GST invoice.
- If we get it wrong, such as a defect, a misprint, transit damage or a short shipment, we fix, replace, credit or refund it.
On a guest list, the food filler becomes the gift itself, and a bag or a box carries it. The table shows what we list, as each product page describes it.

- Omay Classic Treats Gift Box: about 300 units at around ₹750 a head comes to about ₹2.2 lakh.

When to confirm your order
Confirm your order and artwork at least 7 weeks before the wedding. Confirmation means you have confirmed the order and approved the artwork, so check every name and spelling first.
Orders ship within 12 to 14 working days of order confirmation. After dispatch, allow up to 3 working days in Delhi NCR and up to 6 working days elsewhere in India. Our team takes a year-end break, and nothing ships in that window.
For the North East, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the islands, ask us for a date first. Missed the date? Ask us, and we will tell you honestly whether it can still arrive in time.
