Corporate gifts under ₹2,000: ten Swagloop picks, gift box options and the rule for when to confirm

Under ₹2,000 a head buys one solid everyday item per person: a desk set, an insulated bottle, a power bank or a laptop backpack from a brand people know. A client list of 150 to 200 at that spend comes to about ₹2 lakh or more.

Buying year-end client gifts? Start with the client list on our year-end client gifts page. The ten picks below come from the live Swagloop catalogue, grouped by where the gift gets used, not ranked. For the current price, open the product page or ask us for the catalogue.

We usually work with 40 units per design. If you need fewer, tell us and we'll work something out. Every pick stays under ₹2,000 a head, even in the priciest box on this list. The full catalogue has more at this level.

Desk sets and work kits

A desk set puts several work items in one box, while a laptop stand is one thing that stays on the desk. Go for the set as a broad thank-you, and the stand for clients who work from a laptop all day.

Bottles and tumblers

A bottle or tumbler is the easiest gift to get right when you don't know everyone on the list well. It suits any desk and most bags, and it doesn't depend on anyone's taste in food or style.

Tech for the phone and the desk

Both tech picks fix the same daily problem: a phone that runs low before the working day ends. The real difference is which phones they work with, and that matters more than the gap in cost.

Don't know which phones your clients carry? Then I'd pick the power bank, because it snaps onto MagSafe iPhones, comes with a magnetic ring for other phones, and has USB-A and USB-C ports for charging by cable. The charger needs a phone with Qi wireless charging, such as iPhone 8 and later or the Samsung Galaxy S series, as its listing states.

Bags for travel and the commute

A laptop backpack from a known brand fits this budget comfortably. The Valex suits a daily commute, and the Weekender suits clients who travel for work.

Wellness for clients who travel

The wellness pick is a travel neck pillow, for clients who fly or spend long hours on trains and in cars for work. It's a good fit for a client list full of travellers, like sales teams or consultants.

It pairs well with the Weekender backpack above. The pair goes over ₹2,000 a head, though, which is past this budget, and each one is its own design.

Food boxes

A dry fruit box suits a client who'll share the gift with an office or a family. It also needs no size, no charger and no phone check.

  • Happilo Raj Mahal: a maroon-and-gold box with a palace skyline holds 100 g each of almonds, salted pistachios and whole cashews, plus 200 g of green raisins, 500 g in all.

What an order at this spend comes to

Headcount does the work here. About 150 units at around ₹1,400 a head comes to about ₹2 lakh, and the American Tourister Valex Backpack sits at that level.

About 200 units at around ₹1,100 a head comes to about ₹2.2 lakh. The Portronics K11 stand and the Freedom Fold charger sit at that level. Every sum here leaves out GST, branding and shipping.

What does packaging add to corporate gifts under ₹2,000?

A box adds to the cost of every gift, so it shows up in a big order's total. The table uses 150 Valex backpacks, at around ₹1,400 a head, as the example.

Packaging150 Valex backpacks, boxed
No added boxAbout ₹2 lakh
White Mailer Box with Custom StickerAbout ₹2.4 lakh
Top-Down Printed BoxAbout ₹2.6 lakh
MDF Magnetic BoxAbout ₹2.7 lakh

If the budget is under ₹2,000 a head including the box, every pick on this list fits with any of the three. If it has to include GST as well, ask for a quote on the exact items.

For the power bank or the charger, the Box With Foam Cavity is another option. Its listing describes a rigid box with a foam insert cut to hold the item in place, which is what you want for anything electronic.

What should you skip at this budget?

Skip clothing, festival-named boxes and any plan that splits one order across many small designs. Each one wastes part of the budget, and here's why.

  • Clothing. Polos, hoodies and jackets from known labels sit in this range too. For client gifts you rarely know the size, and a shirt in the wrong size goes unworn.
  • Festival-named boxes. Several food boxes in this band carry Diwali in their names. On a desk a month later they look like leftovers, so this list leaves them out.
  • Many small designs. Splitting 150 gifts across five designs puts each design below 40 units, so talk to us first. One or two designs is simpler.

Questions buyers ask

Which of these is the most popular corporate gift?

We don't publish a sales ranking, so this list is grouped by use, not by sales. Choose by where the gift will live: on the desk, in a bag or at home.

Do these work as employee gifts?

Yes, for senior staff. For a whole team at a lower spend per head, see corporate gifts under ₹1,000.

Can each gift go to a different address?

Yes. We ship anywhere in India, to one address or to each recipient. For the North East, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the islands, ask us for a date first.

Can the gifts carry our logo?

Yes. We add your logo, names or a monogram, and send a proof or order summary for you to approve before production starts. Our guide to branding bulk corporate gifts explains the methods.

When should you confirm a year-end order?

Confirm your order and artwork at least 5 weeks before the gifts must arrive, or 6 weeks if those weeks include 24 December to 3 January. Confirmation means you've confirmed the order and approved the artwork.

Orders ship within 12 to 14 working days of order confirmation. After dispatch, allow up to 3 working days in Delhi NCR and up to 6 working days elsewhere in India. Our team takes a year-end break, and nothing ships in that window.

For year-end client gifts that must arrive before the break, the 5 weeks apply, and for gifts that arrive after it, plan on 6. For the full plan, see our guide to timing and budgeting client gifts.

Missed the date? Ask anyway, and we'll tell you straight whether it can still arrive in time.

Next step: pick a gift from our client list for year-end gifts, add a box if you want one, and send the quantity and the delivery addresses with your enquiry. That's it.
